SOHO PERFORMING ARTS

Since opening our doors in 2017, SoHo Performing Arts has been dedicated to providing the highest quality theater and performance experiences to Loudoun County community. Learn more about our rich history and legacy.

The SoHo Performing Arts Daystage Program provides students between the ages of 7 to 16 with a structured daytime musical theatre experience focused on acting, singing, and dancing.

Each class begins with warm-ups that may include vocal exercises, acting techniques, and movement preparation. Students then move into rehearsal, where they work on scenes, songs, and choreography from the productions they are currently preparing. During rehearsals, students develop skills in character work, stage presence, memorization, and ensemble performance while learning how to collaborate and take direction in a rehearsal setting.

At the end of the session, students present the material they have been working on in a performance for family and friends.
